Replaced a manual arbor-press punching process with a hydraulic system and interchangeable tooling.
A manufacturer was manually producing features in plastic enclosures using an arbor press and breaker bar. The process required significant operator effort and produced inconsistent results.
ReShape designed a hydraulic actuation system, custom punch and die tooling, and a supporting fixture to hold the enclosure during punching.
All components were CNC machined and fabricated in-house.
The completed system was installed and validated on the customer's production line.
